The Specialty Nurseries Directory is an online searchable database of participating Northwest specialty nurseries, display gardens, garden shows, garden artists, and garden shops.

Specialty Nurseries

The nurseries at this site offer Northwest Native, rare, unusual, common and uncommon, collector and exotic plants for the Northwest climate. While some of the nurseries are medium sized companies, most are smaller independently owned and operated. Most are open seasonally while some are open on weekends and by appointment only.

Display Gardens

The gardens in this section are some of the premier gardens in the Northwest. They may be large or small, public or private, but they all offer something unique to the visitor.

Garden Art

This section has art to complement your garden. Some of it is produced by Northwest artists.

Garden Shows

This section lists the major flower and garden events in the Northwest, with contact numbers for more details concerning dates, admission costs, etc.

Garden Shops

The shops in this section provide a wide range of products from tools to art that will complement and enhance your garden no matter what its size.

How to use the site:

Click on a category on the left. A list of nurseries will be displayed with a description of what they have to offer.

There are two links along with the description:

1. A link to their Specialties
2. A link to their web site

Searching for a specific Plant or Nursery?

Here's How:

Use the searchable database to search the Specialty Nurseries web site. You can enter keywords to find plants, flowers, or businesses.

To search for a particular plant or nursery, use the Quick Search field ( right).

This will display a list of nurseries. At the end of the individual nursery's description is a link to their web site. The nursery's web site will open in a separate window, and the SpecialtyNurseries.com web site will remain open, in the background (mac) or task bar (windows).

When you are done viewing the nursery's web site, you can close the browser window for the nursery's site and return to the Specialty Nurseries Directory site. Then you can click on a link to another nursery if you wish.
